The LWV of Marquette County presented this ‘living history project’ to chronicle the long, tumultuous, but ultimately successful struggle to win full suffrage for the women of America, culminating in the passage of the 19th Amendment 100 years ago. The story of the battle for women’s right to vote will be told through the voices, the writings, the images and events that marked this gripping, polarizing time in America’s history.
