Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The League of Women Voters of Marquette County (LWVMC) is open to all. Anyone 16 or older can join, participate in activities and take on leadership roles. The LWVMC is fully committed to ensuring compliance, in principle and in practice, with the LWV of Michigan's and the LWV US’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies. 

The LWVMC Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Committee Mission Statement

The LWVMC DEIA Committee will focus on increasing our League’s composition to be more diverse. We will work to ensure an equitable, inclusive and accessible environment for all current and potential members. We will work to ensure that voter services are available to all communities in Marquette County, especially groups that have been traditionally marginalized and/or underserved.
