WHAT HAPPENS AFTER ALL THE VOTES ARE CAST?

After each election, a county Board of Canvassers reviews all the data and ballot counts from election day, early voting and absentee voting to confirm that the tabulator vote totals match the number of voters who cast a ballot.  Watch this 1-minute video here.  The League of Women Voters and our democracy partners will be observing the Boards of Canvassers in all  83 Michigan counties and confirming that this piece of the election protection system, a ministerial job, is completed and that each county eventually certifies the election.
